Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Mylite ("Service"), operated by Mylite ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Mylite provides an AI-powered voice receptionist service for home service businesses, including:

  • A dedicated AI phone agent that answers inbound calls on behalf of your business.
  • Automated appointment booking via integration with your Calendly account.
  • Call logging, transcripts, and outcome tracking in a web dashboard.
  • SMS and email follow-up for missed or incomplete calls.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter into a binding contract on behalf of your business. The Service is available to businesses operating in the United States. Use outside the US is not officially supported.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@myliteai.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscription & Billing

Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. A credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, your account will be paused unless you maintain an active payment method and subscribe.

Subscription Fee

The Service is billed at $299 per month (Starter plan) or $499 per month (Professional plan) per business. Billing is monthly and begins on the day you subscribe. All fees are in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law or as described below.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry. After 3 failed attempts, your account will be suspended.

Price Changes

We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes via email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, including telemarketing or TCPA rules.
  • Make or receive calls for fraudulent, harassing, or deceptive purposes.
  • Impersonate another person or business.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls, or security measures.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.
  • Use the Service for any purpose other than managing inbound calls for your own business.

6. Telephone Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing telephone calls, recordings, and automated systems, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and any state-specific call recording consent laws. We recommend disclosing to your callers that their call may be answered by an AI and may be recorded or transcribed.

7. SMS Communications

By using a Mylite-powered phone number, callers who contact a Mylite-enabled business may receive automated SMS messages, including missed-call follow-ups and appointment reminders. Message frequency: up to 2 messages per inbound call event. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages will be sent. To request help, reply HELP or contact us at support@myliteai.com. Opt-outs are honored immediately and permanently.

8. Intellectual Property

Mylite retains all rights to the Service, including its software, design, AI models, and brand assets. You retain ownership of your business data (call logs, transcripts, customer contact information). You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to deliver the Service.

9. Confidentiality

We will treat your business data and customer information as confidential and will not share it with third parties except as necessary to operate the Service (see our Privacy Policy) or as required by law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing call outcomes and following up with customers as needed.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYLITE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Mylite harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

13. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable.

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. We will retain your data for 90 days after which it will be deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
